MELISSA FARLOW is a freelance photographer that has contributed 14 stories to National Geographic magazine. Previously she was a staff photographer at the Pittsburgh Press, the Courier-Journal and Louisville Times. She was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of desegregation in the public schools while at the Louisville newspapers. Farlow worked in three African countries for Women in the Material World, a book comparing women’s roles in different cultures. She photographed in Chile, Peru, and Mexico for a book on the Pan-American Highway and also for a National Geographic book titled Wild Lands of the West. Her images have won multiple awards in the Pictures of the Year International competition and other contests. She received her B.A. degree in Journalism from Indiana University and her master’s degree from the University of Missouri where she also taught photojournalism. She has been a faculty member at the Missouri Photo Workshop, the Center for Photographic Studies in Louisville, and the Anderson Ranch of Fine Arts in Aspen, Colorado.

Jeffrey M. De Guzman aka Jeff MD in all online art forums, is a Pinoy who grew up in the busy city of Makati, Philippines. He is a very talented person whose works were featured in different covers of magazines and books, including Advanced Photoshop, Expose and Exotique.
Jeff graduated in Mapua Institute of Technology, BS in Mechanical Engineering and received his professional license the year after. He also has a passion for cooking that’s why he took Culinary Arts where he did food styling.
His first break came from Tom of ImagineFX (Fantasy and Sci-Fi Digital Art Magazine) wherein his work was featured in issue 14 of the magazine’s DVD. Motivated from that instance, he fervently continued to create artworks for different online art competitions in which he mostly topped at.
Jeff’s personal artworks were continuously recognized abroad, proofs were Ballistic Publishing’s annual artbooks, Exotique 3 & 4 and Expose 6 in which his artwork was the featured cover of the limited edition.
His personal artwork ‘Golden Bee’ was given Excellence (silver) award in the portrait painted category judged by Expose’s 9 man awards committee which includes Ryan Church, Max Dennison, Stephan Martiniere, Brom and a lot more big names in the computer arts industry.
Jeff also made workshops and magazine covers for Advanced Photoshop Magazine.
